New work based on the tiles of St Davids went on show for the first time at the Cloister Gallery, St Davids Cathedral, on 22 October 2019.
Included in the exhibition was a large floor piece consisting of the tiles that were exhibited in local churches as part of this year’s Art on the Faith Trail in June and July 2019. They are shown all together at this exhibition with more new work based on other patterns, exhibited as digital prints.
A second floor piece is based on one of the medieval tiles from Strata Florida, and further images based on the tiles from the Cistercian abbey are also included in the exhibition.
The exhibition runs until 4 November 2019.
